It has a slightly Mediterranean feel with a white stucco exterior and – on the upper storey balcony that’s ideal for dining under the stars – an intricate ironwork balustrade. Also on this level are rare bengkiray wooden floors topped with comfortable king-size beds. Another open-air dining area is located downstairs next to the pool, this one furnished with a round dining table suitable for larger groups. Sliding French doors open from the Canton-tiled ground floor onto the massive garden, where one of the features are the Pandan palm trees that are over two decades old.
